Hello! Thanks for visiting the site! Before you send me an email, please read through this message carefully, specially if you are a visitor to this site for the first time.

I love getting feedback, and I generally reply within a reasonable amount of time. But there are times that I don't reply specially if the email has put me off for one reason or another. Here are some suggestions to save us all a lot of time.

1. If you wish to give me a paying job, please skip everything else and go directly below. :)
2. If you are a student conducting research, please make sure you introduce yourself properly using your real name, what school you come from and the purpose of your research. Write your email properly using correct spelling and grammar . Don't use textspeak. Don't blackmail me by saying you will fail if I don't answer quickly. Don't me ask 100 questions about Stan Lee, asking me to discuss his writing motivations, his style, his impact, and his body of work. It's better to ask the man himself, or buy a book on him. That pretty much applies to everything else that has nothing to do with my work and Philippine comics.
3. If you are conducting a survey for school or for work, please make sure your questions are applicable to me. To ask me "Why did you choose manga to tell your stories?" indicates a lack of research on your part. If you are asking me to reply to you personally, please have the courtesy to ask me personally as well.

5. You are welcome to me show me your artwork for critique. If you are very good, I can recommend you to some people I know who can give you a job. But are you good? Out of a hundred people who showed me their work, I saw probably just one or two who have what it takes to be in comics. Out of 20 people who showed me work that I've responded to with an honest assessment, only one or two have responded. I never heard from the rest, even to just say thanks. Which are you? If you are looking for honest opinion, email me by all means. If it's praise you are looking for, it might be best to just go look for it somewhere else.
6. If you wish to leave feedback to something I wrote in the blog, please take note that it's possible I could quote your email, or parts of it, and post it in my blog in order for me to respond.
