Elpidio E. Torres was
the original artist on Mars Ravelo's Bondying, a comics novel that was
so popular that it was adapated and expanded several times for the screen.
Fred Montilla starred as Bondying in the 1954 version, which also starred
Elaine Gamboa..
Fred Montilla reprised the role in a sequel entitled "Tatay na Si Bondying" in 1956, where he starred with Dolphy, Chichay, Eddie Garcia and Myrna Delgado. Celso Ad Castillo directed "Ato Ti Bondying", the 1973 version with Jay Ilagan. Jimmy Santos played Bondying in an 80's remake in "Bondying: The Little Big Boy" which also starred Dawn Zulueta. |
