Elpidio E. Torres was
the original artist on Mars Ravelo's Jack & Jill, a comics novel that
was so popular that it was adapated twice for the screen. Mars S. Torres
directed the 1954 adaptation starring Dolphy, Lolita Rodriguez,
and Rogelio De La Rosa.
In 1987, it was remade by director Leroy
Salvador starring Sharon Cuneta and Herbert Bautista.
It was followed up by another movie that went beyond by the movie called
"Jack and Jill Sa Amerika" starring the same actors.
